YOAJUNG, Harajuku - Frozen yogurt specialty store

YOAJUNG, a popular frozen yogurt brand with over 400 stores in Korea, has finally landed in Harajuku, Japan for the first time!
Located in OKUDO DINING & CAFE in the middle of Takeshita-dori Avenue, the store consists of two floors, the first floor and basement, with a cafe area and eat-in space.
I visited on a Friday night. Many people stopped by, attracted by the cute, pop-colored exterior.

Customizable yogurt ice cream loved in Korea
The charm of YOAJUNG is the style that can be customized to your own taste.
The base yogurt ice cream can be combined with up to six different toppings, including honeycomb, cookies, cereal, and fruit.
The most popular is the honeycomb yogurt, which is soaked with plenty of honey. It is said to be very popular in Korea as a "beauty sweet.

The menu is also available in Japanese, making it easy for first-time customers.
A "Low Sugar" option is also available, perfect for health-conscious customers.

I ordered the No. 1 popular "Yoajeon Signature Combo.
I chose the most popular item of the day, the "Yoajeon Signature Combo" (single 1,250 yen).
The savory taste of granola and the natural sweetness of honeycomb (beehive) are a perfect match.
Despite its richness, the yogurt was moderately tart and refreshing to the last bite.

The honeycomb looks gorgeous and is sure to be a hit on social media.
Every time you scoop it with a spoon, the honey seeps out and melts in your mouth.
The crunchy texture of the cereal is well balanced.
Cute white, blue and pink interior!

The eat-in space on the basement floor is a pop-up space based on white, blue, and pink.
The walls are decorated with Korean character-like artwork, giving the space the feel of a Seoul café.
The stainless steel tables and chairs give the space a clean yet futuristic look.
Even on weekend nights, there is plenty of seating available, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your meal.
It is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee with friends or to take a break during shopping on Takeshita-dori.

Various other toppings on the menu

A peek at the menu list in the store reveals a wide variety of colorful combinations.
You can choose the "Chocolate Mint Combo" or the "Sweet Grapefruit Combo" to suit your mood.
Low-sugar yogurt ice cream and limited-edition toppings such as green tea and blueberry are also popular.
The lineup is fun and makes you think, "Next time I want to try a different flavor!" The lineup is fun and makes you think, "Next time, I want to try a different flavor!
