This time, we visited the stylish cafe "Number A" in Omotesando on Sunday. I arrived just after 11:30 a.m. when the cafe opened, but it was already fully booked. The pancakes on the lunch menu at this popular café were truly exquisite.

From the lunch menu at Number A, I chose the bacon and egg pancakes. As soon as they were brought in front of me, I was struck by how beautiful they looked. The fluffy pancakes were topped with a perfect balance of crispy bacon and a half-boiled fried egg.
One bite and the harmony of the bacon's saltiness and the pancake's gentle sweetness will fill your mouth with a moment of sheer bliss. In addition, the whipped butter served on the side is surprisingly creamy and adds a mild richness to the pancakes.
The whipped butter, which at first I thought was potato salad, was so luxurious that I could enjoy the way it melted into the pancakes.
