Soba Noodle Restaurant Miyota
If you are looking for good buckwheat noodles at a good price in Omotesando, you cannot miss "Soba Kiri Miyota".
We visited around 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday evening, and there were only two or three people in line. It may be one of the smoothest hours in Omotesando to get in.

Easy to find along the main street
The restaurant is located along the main street (Aoyama-dori), a few minutes' walk from Omotesando Station.
There is always a long line of people waiting in line, and I have always wondered about this store. This time, my timing was good and I was able to get in with only a short line.

Only counter seats are available! Live cooking can be seen right in front of you!
Once inside, there is only counter seating.
The sight of the chefs carefully boiling the soba and frying the tempura right in front of you heightens your anticipation for the meal.

Actual meal of Tempura Soba! Cost-effective and highly satisfying!
On this day, I simply ordered the "Tenmori-seiro" (940 yen, 1,034 yen including tax).
It is a combination of cold soba noodles and tempura consisting of a large shrimp and several kinds of seasonal vegetables.

The seasonal tempura is fragrant.
The tempura is crispy and not too oily. Seasonal vegetables are used in this dish, giving it a sense of the season.
+The tempura can be replaced with rice for +100 yen, which is recommended for those who want to have a hearty meal.

Soba is shiny and firm.
Try the cold soba without soup first.
The aroma, firmness, and luster of the buckwheat itself will stand out. You can choose from "thick" or "spicy" soup.

Good news for those who need more noodles!
If you think it is a little too little, you can choose a large bowl of noodles. If you think it is a little too small, you can order a large serving of noodles (+¥80/¥88 including tax), which is 1.5 times the amount of noodles, so men and those with a hearty appetite will be satisfied as well.

Popular menu items that are constantly sold out...
We were actually aiming for the " Natural prawns and seasonal vegetables Ten Seiro " for ¥1,160 (¥1,276 incl. tax), but unfortunately it was sold out.
I would definitely like to try again another day. They serve large natural tiger prawns and other tempting tempura such as "Manganji Togarashi" and "Shin-Gobou no Tsumamiage".

The "Kamo seiro" is also popular! Superb duck meat and golden soup stock
I personally highly recommend the " Kamo Seiro " for 990 yen (1,089 yen including tax), which I had on another day. Tender duck meat is served separately and dipped into the broth. The savory duck fat and the rich dipping sauce were a perfect match.

Easy to go to with a price setting that does not seem out of place in Omotesando.
The most surprising thing about the restaurant is its cost-effectiveness. There are not many places in Omotesando where you can enjoy a good buckwheat noodle and tempura for around 1,000 yen.
It is a "hidden gem" that you can casually drop by while sightseeing or shopping. The quality and taste are so good that I would like to try different dishes again.
