CLOVE CAFE&BAKERY
A popular bakery cafe that opened on January 8, 2025.

It is a sister store of " d'une rarete " in Azabu Juban, a famous bakery on Aoyama Kotto Dori that closed at the end of last year, and is a remarkable place to enjoy handmade bread and East India Company tea with a focus on additives-free products.
The famous store, which was located on Aoyama Kotto-dori and closed in 2024, has reopened in a new location.

Charm of CLOVE CAFE&BAKERY
The concept of the store is a "boat trip.

1st floor
Open space with an image of sailing from a port town

B1F (B1 floor)
A relaxed atmosphere that evokes the peaceful time spent on board a ship, where customers can purchase bread on the first floor and enjoy it in a relaxed eat-in space in the basement.

2nd floor
Dedicated space for restaurants
I didn't take any pictures of the 2nd floor💦.
Popular menu and recommended items
Bakery (1st floor)
You can eat in or take out at the basement.
🥐 Long croissant (600 yen)
Moist and filled with cream and French chocolate.

The staff told me about their popular long croissant (600 yen).
🍞 F igs and cream cheese (450 yen)
Figs stewed in red wine and plenty of cream cheese are a perfect combination.

Both are satisfying and hearty!

Drinks (1st floor)
Eat in or take out in the basement
EAST INDIA COMPANY of the East India Company We recommend their many varieties of tea.
☕ 1613 (black tea with persimmon and orange peel) (650 yen)
Blended by an East India Company tea master to celebrate the opening of its first Japanese store in Omotesando. The naming is derived from the year 1613 when the East India Company first landed in Japan and the ship "CLOVE" on which they arrived, which is also the name of the store.
Ingredients include persimmons, mandarin oranges, and other ingredients inspired by the tea master's visit to Japan last year.

The tea is served in paper cups. The temperature was high, so we took the lid off. They put a lot of leaves in the pack. There is no saucer to take them out, so I left them in, but it seemed a bit thick. I should have taken out the tea packet earlier.

Restaurant (2nd floor)
Although we did not visit this time, there is a bistro restaurant on the second floor.

Relaxing cafe in a comfortable space
The eat-in space on the basement floor is a calm, dimly lit space perfect for working or resting.

There is also sofa seating and a cozy atmosphere where you can relax.
Conclusion
CLOVE CAFE&BAKERY is a remarkable Omotesando cafe where you can enjoy delicious bread and tea in a relaxing space. Bread prices are a little high, but you will find it well worth it.

If you are on a cafe tour in Omotesando, this is one place you should definitely stop by!
