Greek Day Omotesando, Tokyo
We are back in business! And the menu had changed a little.

Greek Day, newly opened on September 2, 2024 in the Omotesando/Harajuku area, is a Greek yogurt specialty restaurant. It is a popular restaurant from South Korea, and this is the first time it has landed in Japan. We report on our experience visiting on a weekday after noon.

What is Greek Day? The most popular Greek yogurt specialty store in Korea has landed in Japan!
Greek Day is a yogurt specialty store that is very popular in South Korea. This is the first store to open in Japan, and it features a stylish and sophisticated space befitting the trendy Omotesando area.

Greek yogurt is made with more water than regular yogurt and is known for its rich taste and high nutritional value.
Differences between Greek and Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt and Greek yogurt are the same thing and derive from the English word "Greek.
Two types of yogurt to choose from: "Signature" and "Lite."
At Greek Day, customers can choose from two types of yogurt
- Signature: With 85% of the water removed, it has the richness and firmness of cream cheese. It has a low acidity and is very filling.
- Light: With 70% of the water removed, it has a slightly thicker, creamier texture. It is softer and less acidic than Signature, making it refreshing to eat.

We chose the richer Signature yogurt. It had a smooth texture like cream cheese and tasted very rich.

The "Marine Blue," a standard menu item, was actually eaten! Healthy and filling!
I ordered the popular "Marine Blue. Even the small size is a sufficient volume, and the price is 1,200 yen. The toppings are filled with bananas, blueberries, apples, and yellow peaches, with plenty of the signature yogurt underneath. It has a rich, almost cheese-like flavor.

In addition, the yogurt is accented with a crunchy layer of granola underneath. While healthy, the volume of the dish was solid, and although small in size, it left me feeling full.

Spacious café space inside the restaurant and delightful service
The restaurant is divided into the first and second floors, with a spacious café space on the second floor.
First floor

Even when crowded on holidays, you can enjoy yogurt while relaxing in a spacious area. What's more, if you can't finish your meal, you can take it home in a take-out container.
Second Floor

On the second floor, you can also enjoy shopping at booths selling cute knick-knacks.

The service was also attentive and comfortable, with parasols available for customers to use while waiting in the store.
Popular menu items are "Marine Blue" and "Hawaiian.
The most popular menu items at Greek Day are the "Marine Blue" and "Hawaiian," which I ordered this time.

They are perfect for health-conscious people, with a variety of fruit and granola toppings. I will definitely try the "Hawaiian" next time.

Conclusion
Greek Day" is a new spot for Greek yogurt to be enjoyed in Omotesando. The rich signature yogurt and a wide variety of toppings on the menu are both healthy and satisfying, allowing you to fully enjoy the appeal of Greek yogurt. If you are ever in the Omotesando and Harajuku area, be sure to stop by.
