J-COOK
Sophisticated buildings line Killer Street in Aoyama. Behind them, tucked away in the semi-basement of an old apartment building, lies J-COOK, a café that has been loved by the neighborhood residents for more than 30 years. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a place where you can spend a restful moment in a hideout-like atmosphere. The cafe, run by a warm couple, is full of charm and once you visit, you will want to come back again and again.

A sophisticated space immersed in a world of antiques
The interior of J-COOK is decorated with a quality sense of style that will appeal to antique lovers. At the far end of the bright floor, where soft natural light pours in from the translucent ceiling, is a counter, and further in from there is another floor that is quietly enveloped by subdued lighting, even during the daytime.

On this darker floor, portraits of the couple's favorite musicians, analog records, and movie posters adorn the walls, as do racks of retro CDs and cassette tapes.
Everywhere you look, antique charm abounds, and the serenity that pervades the place gently envelops the hearts of visitors.

A ¥1,000 lunch that satisfies both body and soul
The ¥1,000 lunch served at J-COOK is so reasonably priced that it is hard to imagine it being in the Aoyama area. Despite this, the quality of the food is so high that you will want to come back every day.

Along with the main dish, which changes daily, the menu offers a meal in which the deliciousness of the ingredients can be fully appreciated.
After lunch, I ordered a cup of aromatic hot coffee. The lunch price was so low for this location that I felt bad not ordering a drink.

A carefully brewed cup of coffee adds even more color to a moment free from the busy daily routine.

A relaxing and healing space
Coming to this café, you will be wrapped in a sense of relaxation. From the brightly lit space bathed in soft natural light to the quiet and serene back floor, the charm of "J-COOK" is that no matter where you sit, you can relax.

The quiet time spent in the comfortable chairs, surrounded by antique furniture and interior decorations, will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

Origin and History of Famous "J-COOK
The name of "J-COOK" reflects the owner's unique thoughts. After establishing his own business in Ginza, he and his wife moved to Jingumae to open this café.

By using the word "COOK," he wanted to convey the fact that it is a restaurant that serves food, and for the simple reason that "the food is made by Japanese people," he added a "J," and the name "J-COOK" was born.

This place, which aimed to be a casual café that people would want to go to every day, rather than a sophisticated Parisian restaurant, has now become a place of relaxation for the people of Gaienmae.
At the end
If you are looking for an antique space and heartwarming food in the Gaienmae area, "J-COOK" is a must-visit cafe.

The delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and the unique warmth created by the café's 30-year history will bring healing and peace of mind to all who visit. This is the perfect spot for those who want to spend a restful time in a stylish corner of Aoyama.
