Kushisuke Meiji Jingumae Branch

Have you ever wanted to eat delicious yakitori for lunch in the Meiji Jingumae/Harajuku area?
I heartily recommend "Kushisuke Meiji Jingumae Branch" to you.

Let us introduce you to one of the best yakitori restaurants in this area with our actual lunch experience.

Lunch Menu

Authentic yakitori carefully grilled one by one over charcoal

After ordering, you will first receive a salad and pickles.

I had the set meal of 5 pieces of yakitori (1,400 yen) for lunch.
The slow grilling of yakitori over the counter over a charcoal fire is a real live performance!
The fragrant aroma and the sizzling sound of the grill stimulated my appetite.

I was particularly impressed with the thigh meat. It was surprisingly tender without being greasy, and the outside was crispy and savory.

The spices such as shichimi (seven spices) and sansho (Japanese pepper) were also aromatic, creating a simple yet high quality flavor.

Elegant Japanese modern space where you can relax from noon

Despite its location in Harajuku, a town for young people, the restaurant has a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere.
The clientele consists mainly of mature couples, businessmen working in the neighborhood, and local regulars, creating a quiet space to enjoy a meal.

The desks at the counter are also of high quality.

The portions are somewhat moderate and healthy. Five is just right for women, and for men, the six-piece course seems to be highly satisfying.
The miso soup and rice were also carefully prepared, making it a lunch that will prepare you from lunchtime to your heart.

Last order for lunch is 13:30!

Kushisuke's specialties: fresh chicken and Tokyo Gundori

Kushisuke's charm is not limited to its "grilling" techniques.
The chicken used at Kushisuke is freshly procured daily from Miyagawa Shokudo Chicken Restaurant in Tsukiji.
In addition, a limited quantity of " Tokyo Gundori" (Tokyo brand chicken) is also available, which is exceptionally tasty.

You can enjoy our kushiyaki skewers, which are made with the perfect combination of grilling, seasoning, and ingredients.

We would like to go there at night as well! More than 30 kinds of skewers

At night, the restaurant offers more than 30 kinds of kushiyaki skewers, as well as authentic courses.
The Japanese modern space with dimmed lighting is perfect for dates and dinners.

We are looking forward to visiting "Kushisuke" at night, when the atmosphere is different from that of daytime.

Summary|If you want to eat yakitori in Harajuku, "Kushisuke" is the only choice!

Although yakitori is most commonly associated with the evening, Kushisuke is a relaxing space for adults that is also recommended for lunchtime.
The aroma of the charcoal fire, the well-cooked skewers, the attentive service, and the quiet time....
You can experience a luxurious lunch as if you were on a short trip in Harajuku.
