Held in Shibuya! I went to "Ribbon Festa 2025" [Experience Report].
I visited "Ribbon Festa 2025" held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA at around 5:00 p.m. on a weekday in August 2025. The event was more crowded than I had expected, and there was a long line at the goods counter! This time, I gave up on the goods and enjoyed the exhibition area.
1st floor: Life-size panels with new illustrations and famous scenes on display
The first thing that catches the eye are the life-size panels drawn by eight Ribbon legendary artists!
Each of the representative characters are lined up in a party look to celebrate the 70th anniversary. The visuals tickle the hearts of young girls and make them want to take pictures.
In addition, the "Dazzling Ribbon World," an exhibition of famous scenes with three themes of "Tokimeki," "Kizuna," and "Namida," introduced memorable scenes from timeless classics, bringing back memories of my youth at once.

You can see the history of the first issue over the past 70 years! I used to read this! I stopped to look at the parade of nostalgic illustrations that made me exclaim in my heart over and over again, "I used to read this!
7th floor: Enjoy collaboration menus and past covers at the Ribbon Café
I couldn't make it this time, but the 7th floor of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA is also offering a collaboration café.
Original menus are being offered for a limited time, and I definitely want to stop by next time!
This time, I visited on a weekday evening and also stopped by the exhibition area on the 7th floor.
On the 7th floor, in addition to the collaboration café, there is an impressive display of past "Ribbon" covers and autographs of the teachers!
In particular, the covers of " Tokimeki Tonight " and " Hime-chan no Ribbon " filled my heart with nostalgia.
Some of the designs reminded me of the " All Entrants Service " prizes, which brought back the excitement of those days.
We had to wait 30 minutes to an hour for the merchandise sales, so we decided not to go this time, but even though it was a weekday, there were many visitors, and we could feel the strong popularity of Ribbon.

Ribbon Festa 2025 was not just a nostalgic event, but a space where the appeal of "shoujo manga" could be reaffirmed for all generations.
