When you walk down Takeshita-dori Avenue, you often see people taking pictures of the long fries in their hands, right? That person is the owner of the very popular spiral fries specialty restaurant "LONG! LONGEST! LONGEST!

The store opened on Takeshita-dori in Harajuku in March 2018. Tornado fries are made in the store by sticking spring-cut fries on long skewers, and the length of the skewers seems to vary depending on the size of the potatoes.

Two store locations! The wait is short.

There are two stores on Takeshita-dori, and the one in the back, in the same building as Sanrio, has a relatively short wait time.

I visited on a Friday around 12:30 p.m., and the place was crowded with many people because it was spring break season.

However, the store is often empty in the evening, so if you want to avoid waiting in line, I recommend visiting at night. Also, since the store is especially crowded on weekends and holidays, it is best to visit just after the store opens or in the late afternoon on weekdays to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

In addition to the three standard flavors of consommé, barbecue, and butter soy sauce, you can also choose garlic truffle flavor for 100 yen extra.

The sauce is richly seasoned, so you don't need to put anything on it to taste it! You can add ketchup or mayonnaise for free if you want to change the flavor!

Best eaten hot, as it tends to get a little soggy when cold!

If you eat it alone, I would say Long (35cm) or Longer (42cm). If you want to share with friends, I recommend the Longest (55cm)!

I ordered the Longer (42cm) consommé flavor. There were about 10 people in line and I was able to watch the potatoes being made while I waited.

The process of slicing potatoes with a special machine, wrapping them around skewers and deep frying them with artisanal techniques is a fun one to watch! Moreover, since photography is allowed, taking videos and photos for social networking sites is highly recommended.
