Located on the 9th floor of Q plaza HARAJUKU, a 3-minute walk from Meiji-jingumae Station in Harajuku, PIZZERIA CANTERA is an Italian restaurant whose signature dish is savory pizza made with 100% whole wheat "Haruyokoi" flour produced in Hokkaido.
It has been selected four times as one of the 100 best restaurants on the food log, and is loved by a wide range of customers, from local regulars to tourists, couples, and families.

As you take the elevator up to the ninth floor, you will be greeted by an antique-style interior and a view through the glass.

Lunch for one! Small pizza available
I visited the restaurant for lunch alone. They used to have a lunch set, but now it is a single order style.
However, when I asked the waitress, she was willing to make a small pizza that was not on the menu. This kind of flexible response makes me want to repeat my visit.

Whole-grain dough with a distinctive aroma
The dough, made with 100% whole wheat flour "Haruyokoi" from Hokkaido, is baked at once in a wood-fired oven, making it crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It is lavishly decorated with shirasu (baby sardines). The combination of shirasu, shiso leaves, green pepper, garlic, and mozzarella is outstanding.
The saltiness of the shirasu and the freshness of the shiso go perfectly with the savory flavor of the dough.

Seasonal Potage
The cold potage of corn is surprisingly sweet and rich. It is like eating the corn itself, smooth to the palate.
Seasonal corn from Sanzan, Kumamoto Prefecture. This cold potage is made from a variety of Sanzan corn called "Megmister," which has a fruit-like sweetness with a sugar content of over 20 degrees Celsius.

Bottled cola
I like Coke in a stool because it gives me a special feeling of drinking outside. Reset your palate with a cold Coke and your pizza will go on again.
