On October 24, 2025, "mofusand TOKYO" opened in Harajuku's Jingumae district. This is the first permanent store where visitors can experience the world of the popular character "mofusand," created by illustrator Juno.

A specialty store dedicated solely to concept series.
The series is scheduled to change several times a year, so you can enjoy a new world every time you visit!
The first installment's concept was "COFFEE AND DONUTS"!

mofusand, which has held pop-ups across Japan, has finally established a base in Harajuku, drawing the attention of fans.

Store Location and Exterior

The store is located in the Jingumae 3-chome area, about a 5-minute walk from Harajuku Station or Meiji-jingumae Station, just off Takeshita Street. Cat-themed sculptures decorate the 2nd and 3rd floors of the glass-fronted building, expressing its unique worldview even from the exterior. Only the 1st floor is accessible to customers; the upper floors are display areas. Even from outside, it looks like a "tiny fluffy house," so adorable you'll want to snap a photo.

Interior Atmosphere

The theme is "COFFEE & DONUTS." The interior, dominated by blue and pink, is unified in soft hues. The ceiling features a donut-shaped logo, and cat paw-shaped hooks line the walls. Tote bags hang from these cat paw hooks, designed to be part of the decor. Lighting and fixtures are also unified in gold, creating an elegant, calm atmosphere where cuteness shines through.

Crowd Levels and Entry

Weekdays are relatively quiet, but weekends always have lines. The area near the register gets especially crowded during peak times, and entry restrictions may be enforced on holidays. Payment is cashless only (credit cards, e-money, and QR codes accepted); cash is not accepted.

To coincide with the opening of mofusand TOKYO Harajuku, new items from the "COFFEE & DONUTS" series were released. Featuring cats caught in donut rings as the motif, the design is adorable from every angle.

Among mofusand TOKYO's offerings, the "COFFEE AND DONUTS" mascot key rings—featuring cats snugly nestled inside donut rings—are especially popular. All six designs feature unique expressions and colorings, each with its own distinct personality.

Priced at ¥2,530 (tax included) each. Up to three of each type can be purchased per transaction. Each keychain features a fluffy donut base and a soft, plump cat form, offering a surprisingly substantial feel when held. The sight of them neatly lined up across an entire wall is impressive, and enjoying the different atmosphere each color brings is another highlight.

The "Half Chocolate" and "Strawberry Cream" varieties often sell out early, frequently being completely sold out by the weekend. Lightweight and easy to display, they look adorable attached to bags or pouches, making them popular as gifts. The delicate designs by Juno are faithfully reproduced down to the smallest details, making this a highly refined series perfect for collectors.

Small items like mugs, plates, stickers, and pin badges are also well-stocked. Ceramic plates feature illustrations of cats holding donuts, creating a cafe-like atmosphere. These items were neatly arranged in the center of the store, with a display layout that felt soothing just to look at.

Impressive Points Inside the Store

Particularly eye-catching was the display of cat paw hooks lining an entire wall. Each hook had a slightly different shape, designed to look like cats peeking out from the wall. The ceiling lights were also donut-shaped, completing the store's cohesive, unified aesthetic. The staff were very attentive, and photography is allowed as long as you follow the rules.

mofusand TOKYO Harajuku is more than just a character shop; it's "a place to experience the world of mofusand itself." Despite its small size, every corner is meticulously designed to be photogenic.
