I visited “Brown Brown Green Organic & Natural Cafe,” located right next to Gaienmae Station. It’s an organic and gluten-free cafe that specializes in organic and pesticide-free farming, and I ordered the soup and “Egg Brown” set. It was a place where I could spend a pleasant time, feeling like I’d become more beautiful just by eating healthy food.

“Brown Brown Green,” a hidden gem of an organic café in Gaienmae
“Brown Brown Green” is an organic and natural café located on the first floor of The BATON Minami Aoyama, a 4-minute walk from Gaienmae Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line.Since opening in December 2022, it has offered a selection of body-friendly menu items, including a drink menu featuring organically grown coffee and tea, as well as sun-dried bancha tea made using traditional methods, and a lunch menu featuring pesticide-free brown rice, carefully selected eggs, and seasonal organic vegetables.

A bright, airy interior with high ceilings
The interior features high ceilings and a very open layout, creating a comfortable and inviting space. Natural light streams in through the large windows, and one of the café’s charms is the ability to enjoy a meal at a leisurely pace in this bright atmosphere. It’s a calm space that’s easy to visit even alone, making it perfect for a break during work or while out shopping.
High ceilings and an open layout—it looks so cozy!
An atmosphere where it’s easy to come in alone is really a rare find.

Trying the “Egg Brown”—a grilled brown rice onigiri topped with a fried egg
I ordered the signature dish , “Egg Brown.” It’s a dish featuring a grilled brown rice onigiri topped with a fried egg, and the toasty flavor is absolutely delicious. Tomatoes and broccoli add a pop of color, making it a visually appealing dish as well. The portion size is on the smaller side overall, so if you’re looking for a heartier meal, I recommend pairing it with another item from the menu.

A mild-flavored lunch set served with the daily soup
The soup included in the set changes daily, and you can choose from three varieties. It’s a mild-tasting soup packed with vegetables, with a flavor that gently warms you from the inside out. It pairs well with the Egg Brown, and the portion size was just right for breakfast or lunch.
I love that the soup changes daily—what a nice touch!
A gentle-tasting soup really soothes a tired body.
An Extensive Menu with Gluten-Free and Vegan Options
The dessert case is lined with carefully crafted, handmade sweets, including baked cheesecake made without wheat flour or milk, baked donuts made with brown rice, and cakes featuring seasonal apples. The extensive selection of gluten-free and vegan options is a real plus, allowing even those with dietary restrictions to choose with confidence.

Access and Hours
Another appealing feature is its convenient location—just a 4-minute walk from Gaienmae Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Business hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays (last order for food at 6:00 PM, drinks at 7:00 PM),and 11:00 AM–6:00 PM on weekends and holidays (last order for food at 5:00 PM, drinks at 6:00 PM). Lunch starts at 11:00 AM and ends when supplies run out, so if you want to be sure to get a meal, we recommend arriving early.
If you’re looking for a healthy lunch in Gaienmae, this is the place to go!
It’s organic and gluten-free—this place is sure to be a hit with women.
