Chun Shui Tang Omotesando Branch

If you are looking for a lunch or cafe in Omotesando or Harajuku, Chun Shui Tang Omotesando is the place to go.
This time, I had the No. 1 popular menu item, " Toujian Pakuchi Ji Tang Mian " at this flagship store in Japan.

What is "Toujon Pakuchi Jeetanmen" with the exquisite harmony of soymilk, pakuchi, and black vinegar?
Warm soy milk soup noodles based on the local Taiwanese breakfast staple, " Toujian ". Chun Shui Tang's "Toujiao Spiced Vegetable Chicken Noodle (1,100 yen)" is a combination of the following ingredients.

- Toujiao (soybean milk soup): Soybean milk soup with condiments such as dried shrimp and green onions, firmed up with black vinegar. It has the texture of soft tofu.
- Sprouts of Chinese cabbage (pak choi) add a fresh aroma to the soup.
- Chicken soup: Light chicken soup.
- Black vinegar: Soy milk is fortified with black vinegar, which adds sourness and richness.
- Special Steamed Chicken: A rich flavor, served with sesame sauce.

Together, these ingredients make up a drink that is easy on the body yet tastes great.

My impression of the actual food
At first bite, I thought, "Hmm? Maybe a little too light?" I felt it was a little too light.
It was a so-called "house flavor" (too mild), and I felt like it needed a little more punch. However, as I continued eating, I gradually became accustomed to the taste, and in the end, it had a strange charm that made me think "this is just about right.

The fluffy texture of the soy milk, the fresh crunchiness of the pak choi, the delicious flavor of the chicken, and the moderate sourness and richness of the black vinegar all intertwine perfectly, making this a truly healthy yet satisfying dish.

Moreover, the overall lightness of the dish makes it a great point not to upset the stomach after eating. It is perfect for women and those who want to walk around after lunch.
Modern and comfortable Taiwanese cafe space
The charm of Chun Shui Tang Omotesando also lies in its interior, which combines Taiwanese tradition and modern design.
Tea cans, bird cages, and natural materials are scattered throughout the interior, making you feel as if you are in a Taiwanese café.

Recently, in collaboration with KEITAMARUYAMA, the windowpanes are decorated with cute floral patterns, making them even more stylish!
