What is "SUMMER LOUNGE" at Meiji Park?
I visited the summer event " SUMMER LOUNGE MEIJI PARK " at Meiji Park. I visited around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Tables and lights were lined up by the lawn, and the atmosphere had a "relaxed" feeling that one would not expect in the heart of the city. This time, I did not see the movie, but just went for a preview and left. I plan to go back during the event period and add my impressions of the outdoor movie and food.
- Basic information: 8/1-8/31, 17:00-22:00 (L.O.21:40), free admission. In case of rain or stormy weather, the event will be canceled. The latest information will be posted on the official Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/summerlounge_2025/).
- Venue presentation: tables & chairs and lighting make the park an integrated lounge. Outdoor movies will be held at the same time on weekends (films will be updated as needed).
- Excerpt from the rules for bringing your own items: There is a notice that chairs and seats are not allowed to be brought into the park (notes for when the film is held).
- Reservations: Some have an advance reservation page (TableCheck). It is safer to make reservations on crowded days and for groups.
What's on at Meiji Park right now?
- SUMMER LOUNGE (8/1-8/31): 17:00-22:00, free admission. Food and beverage booths and lounges linked to brands will appear. In case of rain or stormy weather, a cancellation notice will be posted on the official SNS.
- Nebukuro Cinema (weekends): Outdoor screenings in a mobile cinema truck. Screenings are updated on the official website. Foreign films are dubbed and screened from 19:00 to 21:00.
- MEIJI PARK YOGA (8/2, 8/23): Sunset yoga in the evening. Free (content varies by session).

Entrance Rules for 8/16 (Jingu Gaien Fireworks)
On 8/16,only those who have pre-registered (free of charge) will be allowed to enter the park and a maximum of 2,000 people will be allowed due to congestion control. Entrance starts at 3:00 p.m. There is only one entrance gate at the southwest corner of the park, and there are no guaranteed seats for spectators. Fireworks are scheduled to be launched at 19:30; please refer to the official announcement for details in case of postponement.
Local atmosphere, useful points, tips on what to bring and what to wear
- When the wind blows from evening to night and the lights start to turn on, you will feel an extraordinary atmosphere. Even if you don't watch a movie, you can enjoy the path by "stopping by".
- What to bring: Small leisure sheets, cushions, a cloak, and insect repellent. Chairs and large sheets are not allowed.
- Rain: Umbrellas and raincoats are recommended for light rain (guide for the movie). Check the official SNS for the latest availability.
What is Corona Cero Lounge?
- Summary: A beer terrace to commemorate the landing of the new non-alcoholic product "Corona Cero. The event will include a variety of Corona products for sale and sampling, as well as "brand experience" content such as silk-screened T-shirts and totes and the " Corona Sunsets Hour " music program.
- Examples of drinks: Corona Extra approx. 750 yen / Corona Cero approx. 600 yen, cocktails using Corona will also be offered (menu may change on a daily basis).
- Point: Non-alcoholic Corona Cero is available, so drivers and those who prefer not to drink can enjoy not only the atmosphere but also the "taste.
