KIHACHI Aoyama Honten, located along Gingko Namiki Avenue in Gaienmae, is a popular restaurant offering French-based, stateless cuisine.

Kihachi Aoyama Honten" is a popular restaurant located near Gaienmae Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, a 5-minute walk from Gaienmae Station, right next to the Gaien Icho Namiki trees.
I visited around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The main dining room on the second floor is for reservations only, but the cafe and food hall on the first floor can be used without a reservation. I was able to enjoy a relaxing café time while gazing at the rows of gingko trees.

The fluffy sponge is perfectly balanced with sweet and sour strawberries and light whipped cream.
Fresh strawberries are lavishly topped on top for a gorgeous appearance.
The cake is not too sweet and goes well with coffee.

Deep and savory flavor.
The coffee has a good balance of sourness and bitterness, making it a perfect match for sweets.
Kihachi offers different fruit sweets for each season, so you can enjoy a new taste every time you visit. Strawberry sweets in spring and peach sweets in summer are especially popular and sometimes sell out, so it is recommended to visit early in the season.

Reservations can be made for the main dining room on the 2nd floor (reservations are accepted until the end of the following month).
Reservations can be made for lunch time on the 1st floor and terrace seats only for afternoon tea.
