A wide selection of limited-edition "Work Cat" items! Shibuya Moddy

I went to “Kumamine Goods Special Selection Store Monajiana, ” the official merchandise store run by illustrator Kumamine on the 4th floor of Shibuya Moddy, to buy items featuring the hugely popular “Work Cat” (Construction Site Cat).Here’s my report from inside the store, where a wide array of limited-edition and classic “Work Cat” items—including stickers, acrylic keychains, plush toys, and gachapon capsules—are lined up.

Kumamine’s Character Specialty Store

Monajiana is a specialty store carrying official merchandise from Kumamine, an illustrator popular for her unique artistic style. It’s located on the 4th floor of Shibuya Moddy, near the Starbucks Shibuya Moddy branch across the hall.From “Work Cat” (Site Cat) to original characters like “Muzina,” “Ouchakuma,” and “The One-Wolf Club,” this space is packed with Kumamine’s creative universe.

Not only is Shigoto Neko adorable, but Muzina is so cute too—you’ll find yourself wanting to collect them all!

Yoruneko

It’s pretty interesting how Muzina—who started out as a practice character—has now become one of the store’s flagship characters.

The first thing that catches your eye as soon as you enter the store are the life-size figures of the Working Cat (Phone Cat) talking on the phone and the black cat Muzina. When I visited, a celebratory message reading “Happy 1st Anniversary, Mona-Jiana-sama” was on display, making this a corner where you can really feel the shop’s history.

Plush toys and stickers are packed in tight

Wire baskets are packed with “Working Cat” body pillows and colorful Muzina plush toys. The lineup of stickers and postcards covering an entire wall is also spectacular, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the world of Kumamine’s illustrations.

There’s also a great selection of acrylic stands and miscellaneous goods

The lineup includes the “Why?” phone cat acrylic stands, expressive face mugs, and illustrated postcards. Stationery items like B6 ring notebooks and notepads are also available, making them perfect souvenirs.

2nd Anniversary Merchandise and Pin Badge Corner

Acrylic keychains, acrylic stands, and bang clips commemorating “Monajiana’s 2nd Anniversary” are now available. The pin badge corner, marked by the “Work Cat” stand—famous for the phrase “Jojatssu!!”—also features a wide variety of designs and is well worth a look.

Don’t miss the gachapon machines in the store

There’s also a gachapon machine at the store where you can try your luck at winning Monajiana-exclusive “Landmark Charms” (12 varieties total, 400 yen per play) and “Working Cat Handkerchiefs” (6 varieties total, 300 yen each). The limited-edition charms are designed so you can remove the ring and use them as standalone charms—they’re so charming you’ll want to collect them all.
