Mellojoy (Mellojoy) has released a limited-edition Halloween series. “Mochi-mochi-mochi Happy Mello-ween (Z091)” is aptly named “MELLOWEEN.”This blind-box squeeze toy set features a lineup of characters including a pig in a pumpkin costume, a pig wrapped up like a mummy, and a fluffy white ghost.
The texture is described as “Mochi-mochi-mochi / Dry Yogurt.” The packaging also features the words “Handmade by Expert Artisans,” conveying the care that goes into crafting each one by hand.
Pumpkin Pig and Mummy Pig
The Pumpkin Pig features a glossy orange costume topped with colorful spray chocolate. The pig’s face peeking out from the gaps in the costume is utterly charming.
The Mummy Pig is a classic Halloween motif, with its entire body tightly wrapped in bandages. The pink horns peeking out from the top of its head and its puzzled-looking eyebrows create an expression you’ll find yourself drawn to.
Fluffy Ghost Character
The star of the series is this pure white, fluffy ghost character. A pumpkin-shaped bone hair clip sits daintily atop its cream-colored, swirled hair. The red star-shaped eyes and rosy cheeks highlight the charm that’s so characteristic of Mellojoy. There’s even a small cat-bone motif hidden on its belly—every detail is packed with Halloween charm.
Experience the Soft, Squishy Texture
When you press the Pumpkin Pig with both hands as if cradling it, its glossy surface gives way with a squish.
When you grab the ghost character’s ears and pull, they stretch out significantly with a chewy, stretchy texture. Another highlight is watching them slowly return to their fluffy original shape when you let go.
If you press the mummy pig firmly with both hands, the bandage parts will change shape with a chewy, stretchy feel. Placing it on a record plate creates a slightly retro and chic Halloween display.
