At Mikazuki Momoko on Takeshita Street in Harajuku, I discovered the “Keybored” keyboard keychains —which are all the rage on social media right now—and some colorful squishy toys! Here’s my report on these adorable items that’ll make you stop in your tracks 🎹
They Glow! They Click! “Keybored” Keyboard Keychains

The shelves near the entrance are packed with “Keybored” LED fidget keychains. Designed to look just like miniature versions of real mechanical keyboard keycaps, they come in a wide range of colors, including pink, blue, yellow, and green.

When you pick one up, you’ll find it’s designed so you can click each key individually—and that sensation is truly addictive. It’s easy to see why reviews mention people unconsciously pressing them while they’re attached to their bags—the feel is that satisfying. They’re also perfect for stress relief.

Another key feature is that if you press and hold it even longer, the LED lights up and changes colors. It cycles through multiple colors—blue, pink, green, and more—and really stands out in the dark. It looks great on Instagram and TikTok, so it’s highly recommended for social media users.
The Squeeze Keychain Corner

The squeeze toy section is also well-stocked. Keychain-sized squeeze toys featuring food-themed motifs—like bananas, sausages, and bell peppers—are lined up across an entire wall. The banana-shaped squeeze toys, in particular, are small and cute, making them the perfect size to attach to a bag 🍌

There’s also a wide variety of fluffy squishies shaped like sweets, cakes, and donuts. The sensation of them slowly bouncing back when you squeeze them is irresistible. Since there are warnings here too—such as “Do not squeeze too hard” and “Do not remove from the bag”—please follow the store’s rules and enjoy them responsibly.
